A Global Network
To bring the power of nature to humankind and allow Univera to reach its potential, YunHo Lee and his son Bill would need more than vision. They'd need an organization with a global reach. And so they started one — ECONET — an ECOlogical and ECOnomic global NETwork of companies dedicated to bringing the best of nature to humankind.
ECONET was started in 1976 with the goal of integrating best-in-class research and development, formulation, manufacturing, and consumer product sales of the important discoveries the scientific teams were making. This integration maximizes efficiency and lets Univera develop its new discoveries and bring them to the marketplace as rapidly as possible.
The unique approach of Univera and ECONET was to apply pharmaceutical science to natural products. And the advantages of that approach are evident in the four branches of ECONET:
Univera
Consumer ProductsFounded in 1999, Univera is headquartered in the United States and brings together all the pieces of the ECONET family. It is Univera that formulates consumer health products from the research, discovery, quality crops, and manufacturing provided through the global ECONET — helping renew bodies while changing lives.
Unigen
Research and DevelopmentUnigen was founded in 1996 and employs more than 60 full-time scientists dedicated to researching renewal at the cellular level. Unigen’s work has led to more than 160 patents and patents pending in 27 areas of natural products research, together with the development a world-renowned library of more than 250,000 plant fractions.
Aloecorp / Russia Biomass
